Facilitation & Retention: Recipe for Success in the Lifestyle Change Program

Part I - Tuesday, May 17th, 2022 from 12:00pm – 4:00pm ET
Part II - Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 from 12:00pm – 4:00pm ET

In Part I, you’ll assess, review, and enhance your facilitation skills for delivery of the National DPP in any modality. Through engaging activities, role-playing, case studies, and peer sharing, learners will deepen their comfort with key facilitation skills.

Part II will explore participant retention, a critical component of participant and organizational success in the National DPP. This session will use facilitated discussion, experiential activities, and peer dialogue to explore best practices for increasing retention at the organization, coach, and participant level.

*Live attendance is mandatory for participation in DTTAC Bootcamps. 

This event qualifies as Advanced Coach Training (ACT) under the CDC DPRP. To receive a certificate of completion and be eligible for CEs for this training, live attendance for both 4-hour training sessions (total of 8 hours) is required. Each registrant should be logged into the Zoom meeting separately and not be sharing devices to attend the virtual training. This training will be recorded, however, watching the recording is not a substitute for live training. Registrants are welcome to attend only 1 training day if they understand they will not be eligible for a certificate of completion.
